BJ Bartleson, RN, MS, NEA-BC
Nationally recognized nurse leader with over 30 years of experience as an administrator, educator, researcher, clinician, manager and content expert in multiple areas of active patient care management and nursing practice.
Ms. Bartleson received her Bachelor of Science Degree with Distinction at the University of Virginia, School of Nursing in 1978, and her Master of Science Degree in Nursing Administration at the University of California, San Francisco, in 1990. She presently serves as Vice President of Nursing and Clinical Services at the California Hospital Association (CHA) as a content expert and public policy advocate for over 400 hospitals throughout California.
At the end of this program, participants will be able to:
1. Have knowledge of the legislative process
2. Be aware of hot topic bills that are on the watch list and why
3. Know who to contact if they want input in health policy processes & education
4. Be able to describe impact of the Homeless Bill
