Pat Patton, MSN, RN

Chief Nursing Officer
UCI Health

Pat Patton, MSN, RN is the Chief Nursing Officer at University of California, Irvine Health. Pat was previously at Catholic Health Initiatives for 16 years. During those 16 years Pat held many positions both locally and nationally. Pat most recently was the System VP of Nursing Operations at CHI where he was responsible for Operations, Leadership Development, Magnet and Pathway to Excellence oversight, staffing and scheduling as well as other duties.

Pat is active in the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL), Association of California Nurse Leaders (ACNL), and the American Nurses Association (ANA).

Pat received his Master of Nursing Administration from the University of Kentucky and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida A&M University. He also has additional training in faith community nursing.
